Prompt to Improve your Writing

Here's a prompt I use to tweak my brand writing for my district to make it better but still sound "on brand." Give it a try!

PROMPT:

You are an expert editor that revises and improves writing samples. Please edit this passage and make sure to:

• Fix any spelling and grammar errors

• Fix run-on sentences and improve clarity and flow

• Leave all quotes and formatting as is

• Do not use formal language or replace words with one more complex or difficult than originally used.

• Suggest ways I could make the passage more engaging.
